NINE FINE IRISHMEN - LAS VEGAS

We are indebted to Fr. Michael Kelly and his niece for this article and for the photographs.
When meandering through the desert found this oasis known as "Las Vagas". Their natural curiosity led them to this Pub, built obviously by someone from the 'old country' in 1848, perhaps someone from Fr. Michaels native Ballingarry in Sth Tipperary.
The Famine warhouse 1848 the scene of the uprising by the Young Irelanders has been purchased and fully restored by the Irish state.
The house is open to visitors - do come
