Holy Water

We have purchased a new Holy Water Barrel. It has a tap to make it easy to fill your water bottles.  It is placed in the side porch (Church Lane Side).  You can get to it from the main body of the Church anytime the Church is open.  Please bring your own bottle. Holy Water renews the grace of our Baptism.

Coolquill A.C.

Well done to Matt Alexander this week as he travelled over to Glasgow as part of the Irish O/55 team to compete at the Five Nations cross country on last Saturday. Over an extremely mud laden course, with a severe incline thrown in for good measure, it was a real test for all competitors. Nevertheless he put in a real big effort as he was fourth man home for the team. Unfortunately, the squad were just outside the medals but it was well worth the experience and wore the Irish singlet with great pride. This Sunday, its back to County competition as the Novice B is staged in Moyne, where we hope to have a strong team taking part.
