We remember our deceased relatives and friends

Recently Deceased: The death has occurred of Mary Claire O’Brien, nee Grant, Lower Ballingarry. Reposing at her residence, Monday 21st, from 4pm with Rosary at 9pm. Removal, Tuesday morning 22nd, to the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry at 10.45am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the Old Churchyard Cemetery. House private please on Tuesday morning.

Thurles Vigil
A Three Hour Vigil in Honour of our Lady of the Miraculous medal will be held in the Pallotine

College Chapel, Thurles on Monday November 28th, 2011. It will commence at 8.00p.m. and will consist

of a Eucharist Hour, Marion Hour and Holy Mass.
Enrolment of the Miraculous medal will take place during the Marion Hour. Fr Joe Walsh will conduct the Marion Hour.

Holy Water

We have purchased a new Holy Water Barrel. It has a tap to make it easy to fill your water bottles.  It is placed in the side porch (Church Lane Side).  You can get to it from the main body of the Church anytime the Church is open.  Please bring your own bottle. Holy Water renews the grace of our Baptism.

This years Sale of Work will take place on Sunday 27th November at 2pm, Ballingarry Community Centre.

Free Mulled Wine and Hot Chocolate with mince pies for the first 100 people.

Wheel of Fortune with amazing prizes of TV'S/Laptop/Digital Camera.

Visit to Santa for Û5 per child, which includes photo and present.

Card games
, 25's and 31's, take place in the Old School every Friday night from 8 - 11pm. Admission Û2 and refreshments are served.
Step dancing classes cost Û3 and are given on Friday evenings from 5 - 6.30pm and all children are welcome.
Guitar classes for beginners and advanced

players are given on Friday evenings from 5 - 6.30pm and these classes cost Û7 per person.

Flu vaccine now available in Health Centre by appointment with practice nurse.  The HSE recommends Flu vaccine for all those over 65 years as well as all pregnant women and for younger people with chronic illnesses.  It is also recommended for people with close regular contact with pigs or poultry."

community comprising our four schools,

play schools and parishioners the lives of 125 children will be transformed this Christmas. The quality of the gift filled boxes was even higher

than previous years and considering the effects

of the recession this increase in kindness is

worthy of comment. A big thanks to all who took

GET IN SHAPE FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!
Fab Fitness classes back after mid-term break on Monday 7th Nov and every Mon and Wed morning in Mullinahone community hall, 9.30.
Also Ballingarry Community hall on Thurs evenings 8-9pm.  These are fun circuit training classes, using lightweights for ultimate toning, aerobic exercises for overall aerobic fitness and help with weight loss, followed by body conditioning and stretches.
These classes are suitable for all levels of fitness as each works within there own range, so come along have fun get fit and even make a few new friends.
