Last Sunday 27th
March the Munster Masters road championships were held in perfect conditions in
Ballyneale. Once again Matt
Alexander was the man in form with a marvellous run in the O/55 section of the menÕs
four mile race when taking the individual bronze medal. HeÕs definitely getting better with age
and was an important member of the county team that won gold. In the club section, along with Matt,
we had Leslie Smyth and Martin Ivors running hard but outside the medals when
finishing fourth team. In the O/35
and upwards category, Joe Kearney ran very well but didnÕt make the county team
that won the title.
This Sunday March
3rd, we are heading off to Dundrum for the County Intermediate road
starting at 1pm.
