Bring Day On Friday May the 16th Mohober N.S will be holding a “bring day.” You can bring in old household batteries, old mobile phones and print cartridges between 9:30am and 2:30pm. You can drop them off at the school or give them to someone who goes to the school. So please help support Mohober N.S on their journey to becoming a greener school. We will send everything collected to a charity that will use these goods.
Ballingarry Community Games 2008
Well done to all those who participated over the Bank Holiday weekend in Tipperary’s County Athletic Championships held in Templemore. We had a fine turn out in all ages both on Sunday and on Monday. Among the medals were L O’Shea, gold in Girls u 15 Long Jump, J Burns, gold in Boys u 13 High Jump, L. Prout, gold in girls u 12 80m,A. Browning, gold in Girls u 10 Ball Throw & D Prout gold in Boys u 12 Long Jump. S Prout took silver in boy’s u 16 Long Jump & bronze in boys under 16 100m. P. Burns showed his potential with silver in boy’s u 9 Long Jump & bronze in boy’s u 9 60m sprint. R. Ivors took silver in boy’s u 11 High Jump & bronze in boy’s u 11 Long Jump. Making finals we had D. O’ Connor in boys under 11 80m and A. Browning in girls under 9 60m. Schools Championships Day three will be held next Sunday 11th May and we are hoping for more success here. Training every Thursday at 6pm.
Hall Committee Meeting on Wednesday the 14th of May in the Community Centre at 8:30pm.

Ladies Club Killenaule The club is delighted to invite Style Consultant, Emma Fogarty, to give a talk on Wed 14th May @ 8.30 p.m., St Mary’s Hall. Killenaule: Tips on how to dress to suit your body shape, how to declutter your wardrobe and how to look your best. All welcome. Cost €10
Recent Jewellery Party was a great success. We plan another one later in the year. Donation to South Tipperary Hospice.
A Coffee evening and Tupperware Party in Aid of the South Tipperary Hospice will be held in Gortnahoe Community Hall on Monday next 12th May 2008 from 7.30pm with a Tupperware demonstration from 8.15pm - Admission €5 please support the event.
